Colorado Education Association Privacy Statement

The Colorado Education Association (CEA) is committed to personal privacy registrants and has adopted a stringent policy to show our dedication towards safeguarding information collection and use. CEA is the primary owner of the information collected on our domain(s).

CEA guarantees we will not sell or rent collected information. CEA may share certain information (only where required) with individuals and businesses responsible for handling your account or performing other services that you require.

 

CEA collects information for the following general purposes:

Fulfilling requests as specified

Registration for a CEA event or an event in which CEA may be on of the number of sponsors is completely voluntary. If you choose to register, you will be required to provide contact information (such as name, phone number, email address, etc.). This information is to be used for the sole purpose of providing you with additional information that pertains to the interest(s) specified during your registration as well as providing a registrant list to the event planners.

Customer Service

Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we will send you a welcoming email to verify your username and password. We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. We will communicate with you by email or telephone, in accordance with your wishes.

Agents and Service Providers

We use an outside credit card processing company to bill you for goods and services. This company does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes. These third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose.

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on the CEA Web site. The information collected is to be used for billing purposes and to fulfill the customer’s orders.
