Happy Holidays! We hope you enjoy a restful and relaxing winter break. IMPACT ON EDUCATION PROGRAM HIGHLIGHT:
Congratulations to the entire Emerald Elementary school community on a successful Career Pathways session!
This fall, 4th and 5th graders attended after school classes for 10 weeks taught by community experts in their fields. We celebrated the students who completed Career Pathways last week during a Final Celebration, complete with pizza and cake, where students demonstrated what they had learned and received a diploma documenting their knowledge of practical life skills and their discovery of potential new career options!  During this session, Impact on Education funded classes in Bike Mechanics, Science Wizardry, Technology, Emergency Responders, Forensic Science and TV Production, reaching and inspiring 50 young students.
